We are opening our doors for a full education course in LeaDo pedagogy starting in January 2024.
Day 1 – ARRIVAL
Arrival at Oulu airport and transfer to Haapavesi by private bus.
Settling into accommodations at Ruusula Art Manor. Food and refreshments to boost you with the right amount of energy. Relaxation as we get to know one another.
Day 2 – TRAINING BEGINS
Introduction to LeaDo concept and pedagogy at Ruusula Art Manor.
In the afternoon workshop we will delve into the core of LeaDo pedagogy, i.e. building and guiding learning processes, showcasing how the model liberates the teacher to become a more conscious pedagogue allowing students to have better learning processes.
At the end of the day, outdoor or indoor recreational activities (weather permitting).
Day 3 – WORKSHOP TRAINING
Intensive LeaDo training with workshops in Ruusula. Teachers get to experience the learning processes in the role of the student. This will best open insights into the benefits of the model for both the teacher and the student.
In the afternoon, depending on the weather, outdoor or indoor recreational activities.
Day 4 – SCHOOL VISIT
Morning we transfer to LeaDo training at Lauri Haikola School in nearby Sievi, which has an active LeaDo class. This also serves as an introduction to Finnish schools in general.
Evening visit to Ylivieska City for dinner and shopping activities.
Day 5 – APP TRAINING AND GALA DINNER
LeaDo app training in the morning. All participants will get their own user accounts to the english-language app.
Afternoon is dedicated to processing what we have learned, and answering all the questions the participants have, as well as workshopping ideas to your specific needs in your classrooms.
We finish the day with a team dinner and graduation celebration. All participants will receive LeaDo certification.
DAY 6 – DEPARTURE
Cost: 1250€ Includes Accommodations, Transportation and other expenses in Finland. This also includes the LeaDo app for a full year, as well as a deeply discounted price for life. Gala dinner included. Per teacher wishes, daily food is not included, but we have two nearby grocery stores and a shared kitchen for preparing your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Airfare not included.
Accommodation: shared rooms with shared wash rooms and kitchen and living room.
We can accommodate up to 15 participants per tour. 8 participant minimum. Arrival on Sundays, departure next Friday.
First certification program begins January 2024
